What you bring
Graduation from a top-tier university or an exceptional academic track record, including highest honors, Distinctions, and top-percentile GPA and SAT scores
Proven elite problem-solving ability — you likely hold medals in international olympiads (IMO, IPhO, IOI) or top rankings in the Putnam Competition
A deep, intrinsic love for rigorous analytical challenges — you are an academic at heart who thrives in deeply complex, theoretical environments
Intense intellectual curiosity outside of work, often demonstrated through pursuits like a high chess Elo, a deep appreciation for classical music, or exploring abstract mathematical concepts for fun
Nice to have
A Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related highly quantitative discipline is a major plus
Published research in prestigious academic journals or presentations at premier conferences
While prior quantitative finance experience is welcome, purely academic backgrounds with absolutely zero finance or industry experience are highly encouraged to apply
