Goliath has partnered with a new firm that has upwards of $1T AUM, 1000+ employees and is one of the top 5 globally in the quantitative space. They’ll wait up to a 24 month NC and they are willing to buy bonuses out during sit-out periods. With the beginning of Q1 2024 well underway, the firm has opened up multiple roles for C++ software development in the front office.
Role:
The firm is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to be Onsite in New York to help accelerate one of the teams growth. The position will be an addition to a small engineering team within a larger technology research group. Greenfield Development. Work involvement includes data structures, developing algorithms and latency software engineering and performance will be tightly linked to PMs success.
Essential skills:
BS in Comp Sci/ Mathematics/ Physics or similarly related field.
Proficiency with C++ and exposure in Python.
Expertise with Multicast and/or TCPIP/UDP
Extensive experience with algorithm development & data structures.
Beneficial skills:
MSCS or similarly related field.
Experienced in equities, derivatives or fixed income.
Experience with tick data
Knowledge or work in a low latency/ Ultra low latency environment
Background in trading development is ideal or finance
Mathematical achievements / competitions.
Compensation:
Total compensation range is up to $1M for the ideal candidate. Sign on bonuses are provided also to assist in covering bonuses on NC's. Relocation Packages may also be included if necessary.
