Our client is building a next-generation quantitative trading desk from the ground up, and they need an elite engineer to architect the core execution engine. This role is not about maintaining legacy infrastructure. You will be joining an entirely AI-native environment, pushing the physical limits of network latency and hardware performance to directly convert complex machine learning models and mathematical strategies into sub-microsecond market execution.
What You Will Build
Architect and deploy end-to-end C++ trading pipelines designed to flawlessly process tens of millions of market messages daily without dropping a single packet.
Lead a greenfield initiative to construct a distributed, ultra-high-throughput back-testing environment using Python and Apache Kafka to accelerate AI model deployment.
Implement hardware-optimized code utilizing kernel bypass, CPU affinity, and FPGA integration to consistently achieve sub-microsecond tick-to-trade latency.
Sit directly alongside quantitative researchers and machine learning engineers to translate theoretical, AI-driven alpha into highly optimized, production-ready execution logic.
The Ideal Skillset
Deep, production-level expertise in modern C++ (17/20) and Python, with an absolute obsession for performance, memory management, and clean architecture within an AI-native stack.
A proven track record of building ultra-low latency, highly concurrent distributed systems.
Exceptional academic foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a heavily quantitative field from a top-tier university.
Comprehensive knowledge of Linux OS internals, network protocols (TCP/UDP, multicast), and lock-free concurrent programming.
