A fast-growing, venture-backed technology company is hiring a Software Engineer (AI / Applied Systems) to build AI-powered systems that automate complex, data-heavy workflows in real-world environments. This is a highly technical role working across product and infrastructure to design systems that transform fragmented, manual processes into scalable, intelligent automation.
What You'll Do:
• Build end-to-end AI-driven systems that automate multi-step workflows across unstructured, real-world data
• Design and ship production software that handles large-scale, messy, and high-variability inputs
• Work across backend systems, data pipelines, and applied AI components to improve reliability and performance
• Partner closely with users and internal teams to iterate quickly and ship impactful features
What You Bring:
• Experience shipping production software end-to-end
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering skills (Python preferred)
• Interest or experience working with LLMs, AI agents, or applied machine learning systems
• Strong systems thinking and ability to work through ambiguous, complex problems
• Comfort working in fast-moving environments with high ownership
