Senior Java Software Engineer

A leading financial technology firm is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain large-scale data platforms supporting critical systems across its global business. This is an opportunity to work on highly distributed, data-intensive infrastructure within a fast-paced and engineering-led environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build systems that ingest, validate, enhance, and distribute large datasets from multiple external providers

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable databases, APIs, and distributed services

• Create custom software solutions that improve how data is managed, evaluated, and accessed across the organization

• Support complex data migrations spanning multiple business areas and global markets

• Monitor production systems and drive improvements across reliability, performance, and maintainability

• Perform proactive troubleshooting and resolve production issues

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise-level distributed systems in Java

• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL

• Experience developing reliable, scalable, and data-intensive production systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• Strong interest in financial markets, trading, or financial technology

• Python, Linux, distributed storage, or financial services experience is a plus
